No, we are currently accepting new patients and it is not necessary to have a referral in order to make an appointment with our office. However, for your visit to be covered through your insurance plan please contact your insurance provider to understand the terms of your policy. Is there anything I can do to prepare for my first appointment?

Please make sure that you arrive to our clinic at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. To save time, you can also print and complete the New Patient Form ahead of time and bring them with you to your appointment. If you are under specialist care, please bring your doctors contact information with you. If you are currently taking any prescription medications, please bring all your medications (in their original containers) with you to every visit.

Do I need to have my blood pressure checked regularly?

It is recommended that your blood pressure be checked every two years after the age of 21. We also recommend annual check-ups with your primary physician after the age of 50 and frequent check-ups if you have additional risk factors. The most common risk factors for high blood pressure include family history, being overweight and having a high sodium or poor diet.
